About Us
VGV is a team that focuses on the development of the skills and techniques of swimming, as well as the acquisition of competitive experience. As a Raptor, swimmers will receive coaching aimed at shaping excellent swimmers, well rounded athletes, and great people! Excellent sportsmanship is our standard. In all ways, swimmers, parents, and coaches are expected to treat others with kindness and dignity. We swim in a beautiful, outdoor, six lane pool, competing around Fort Collins at other neighborhood pools.
*Swimmers between the age of 5 and 18 who can swim 1 length of the pool on their stomach (freestyle) and on their back (backstroke) are welcome. We will have tryouts/evaluations to ensure the safety of all swimmers on the team!
The Village Green Velociraptors Swim Team is part of the Horsetooth Summer Swim League. All regular-season meets will be swum against other teams within our local league.
