I am an educator, swimmer, and musician from Fort Collins. I teach music at Liberty Common Junior High and Elementary School while also coaching as an assistant coach on the men's HS team. I have swam for most of my life, starting around 6 years old, swimming rec and club and completing all four years of undergrad at the collegiate varsity level. I am a fifth year coach for the Velociraptors and have many years of private and group swimming instruction before my time at VG. From elementary to early high school, the highlight of every summer was summer league swimming. Many of these years I swam on the Village Green swim team. I love getting to be apart of this community! Go Raptors!
I've been swimming for about a decade, and most of that time was spent as part of the Velociraptors, so I'm super excited to come back to this team as a coach! I swam all four years on the Rocky Mountain swim team, and I've been swimming year-round with Team Vortex for the past three years. I'm a graduating senior, and I'm committed to swim and study nursing at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado this fall. I'm stoked for this season!
I am going to be a junior at Liberty Common High School, and I have been a swimmer for half of my life— all of this was either spent with Village Green or Vortex. I loved being involved with Village Green as a coach last summer, and I hope to make this summer even better for the Raptors!
I am going to be a sophomore at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where I am a member of the swim team and am studying Civil Engineering. I started swimming with a summer swim club when I was 9 years old and loved it! I then swam for Vortex Swim Club and Rocky Mountain High School, and I currently am on the MNSU team. My favorite events are the 100 and 200 backstroke as well as the 200 IM. I am a lifeguard in the summer, so I pretty much spend my whole day at the pool – but I love it! I am super excited to return for another summer with the Velociraptor team, let’s have a great season!
