City Meet Entries due and End of Season

July 17th

Dear VGV Parents and Swimmers,

This message contains a lot of important information. All of this information is on our team website https://village-green-velociraptors.swimtopia.com... and also here for your convenience.

1.URGENT: CITY MEET ENTRIES AND $12 FEES. ENTRIES CLOSE TUESDAY 7/18 AT 8 AM. This is less than 22 hours to close. Please check your swimmers’ status.

2.Multigenerational Mock Meet Wednesday, 7/19. Warm ups for all swimmers and parents (optional) at 7:15am. Parents, let’s have a little fun and swim how we swim. See Coach Avery’s previous emails for more info.

3.Taco Bar Potluck Wednesday 7/19 from 6-8 pm. Edora Park Shelter #1. Here’s the signup genius for food items to bring: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c044eada82ca2f58-vgvswim

4.City Meet 5 on Sunday 7/23 at Westfield. Stay posted for more details.

5.Swimmers who will be swimming at State, stay tuned.

6.New: End of Season “Breakfast for Dinner” Celebration. Tuesday, August 15 from 6-8 at Village Green Pool. Also new: Grab bag fundraiser to help us get Dophin Timers. Stay tuned.

Volunteering:

1.Please talk to Cheryl or Brandy if you would like to talk about points or jobs

2.City Meet 5. Our amazing Officials (Mrs. Sunderland and Mr. Lok) will be working on deck. Our team needs to provide timers. Please sign up to time even if you already have your points for season. If we don't have enough timers, everyone who has a swimmer will be asked to time or be a back up.
