This email a lot of important information. Please read!

1.  VGV Team - End of Season Celebration and Pool Party: Tuesday, August 15^th from 7-9 pm at Village Green Pool. (Sorry, there were some incorrect dates/times on the website and in previous emails, this is is the final/set date and time). Please RSVP on the team website.

We are so excited to celebrate an awesome Swim Team season with our end of year party! This is a "Brinner" Pool Party (Breakfast for Dinner) 

Bring BREAKFAST - cereal and milk, fruit, muffins, breakfast casseroles, BACON!, etc. to share. Families are welcome.

New: Bring your own plates, bowls, utensils, and drinks. Let’s try to reduce waste.

2. New: The Village Green Velociraptors First Ever Fundraiser!

We will be raffling off a gift basket valued at over $1000!

You and your friends and family can purchase a raffle ticket for just $20! Even better, you can get 3 raffle tickets for $50.

The winning ticket will be drawn at our End of Season Potluck and Celebration on August 15^th.

You don’t have to be present to win, which means you can purchase raffle tickets ahead of the event!

Money raised from this raffle will go towards our VGV team needs: (1) The Dolphin Wireless Timing System (these are the blue “necklace” timers that you may have seen at other host pools) and/or (2) equipment-type maintenance related to our starting blocks

Why is this important for VGV? The timers significantly reduce the amount of time and manpower needed during swim meets. The system improves accuracy compared to manual swimming stopwatches with pencil and paper data collection, and efficiently transfers all timing data wirelessly. This will also open the door for Village Green to host city meets in the years to come. Also, our blocks need some TLC if there are extra funds raised.

3.   2023 SEASON FEEDBACK. Cheryl R created a google form for season feedback and to collect info for future volunteering efforts. This is optional. Input will be aggregated and shared with coaches, other parent volunteers so that the team can do well moving forward.
